Cancer is uncontrolled proliferation of cells, leading to malfunctioning of an organism and in many cases, to its death. There is a world-wide cancer epidemic occurring. It is is mainly caused by chemicals liberated into our environment, but psychological stress also plays a role. We have explored some of these effects of stress and considered their implications.
